Regulatory reporting and trade surveillance analyst

DXT Commodities SA is looking for a highly motivated and pro-active analyst who’s main task will be to ensure the Company’s compliance with energy market regulations set forth at
European level (REMIT, EMIR, MAR, MiFID) and within each country where energy products are traded by the Company.

 

Tasks:
  • Achieve a deep understanding of wholesale energy market regulations applicable to the Company
  • Analyse the Company’s business with the aim to accurately and timely report to several European energy authorities all the required information
  • Daily review and analysis of trade surveillance exception reports
  • Support the implementation of the trade surveillance system
  • Periodic review of changes in regulations in order to update and implement enhancements to Company’s policies and practices
  • Interact and cooperate with traders, operations, legal and control functions

 

Requirements:

DXT commodities SA, a leading commodity trading firm based in Lugano (Switzerland), is looking for a talented power scheduler to support its trading business on the operations side.

 

Tasks:

  • Balance of company positions on the relevant spot exchanges
  • Relate with TSOs and check their messages to minimize imbalances
  • Nominate positions with counterparties and cross border flows (interconnection capacities) from long term to intraday markets

Tasks:

  • Responsible for building C# applications
  • Develop and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures and functions
  • Understanding and experience of the whole web application stack from database layer up to the front-end
  • Design and develop these applications and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Proven interpersonal skills in order to build strong relationships with internal clients and the team of developers

FTR Power Trader – ERCOT or SPP

By acting in this position, the candidate will be responsible for building a power and transmission trading desk in ERCOT or SPP regions by leveraging current DXT data infrastructure and cooperating with traders in PJM and MISO markets.

Tasks:

  • Fundamental Analysis of power transmission market, research, and power flow modelling.
  • Explore opportunities in the transmission market and manage FTR and Power portfolio
  • Participate in FTR auctions and generate steady return on risk capital.
  • Strong working knowledge of any ISO/RTO
  • working with IT and transmission analyst to implement ISO data and models into the centralized system

Requirements:

  • Masters or PHD in Electrical Engineering, Economics, Math or Physics, or equivalent degree
